My last project was birthday invitations. We have 2 winter birthdays coming up. 1 in December, and 1 in January. Well, since I have been so productive .... HA HA HA HA HA ... I decided to make the ones for the January party. Because you know those ones don't have to be ready yet...lol. So these are supposed to be golf balls. My DD is going to have a mini-golf party. I cut the circle cards with my Cricut. Then I ran the front through the cuttlebug, but use the embossing folder "upside down". That way there would be indents and not bumps. They are very simple.

My next project is a little homemade "Christmas List" note pad. A couple years ago I purchased (well my mom purchased for me) a binding system. It is not a fancy one, but it does the job, and I like it! Anyway, I started with 2 pieces of white CS, and layered some SEI PP onto those. For the middle, I used some pieces of loose leaf paper the I trimmed up. On the front I used some scraps of white CS and hand wrote the sentiments on it. I then used the TREE image from QKR Stampede. I stamped it onto white CS, and colored it with watercolor crayons. I detail trimmed it, and attached it to the front of the note pad. Then I used my i-Rock at add some little heat set gems to be ornaments. I thought this would be a handy little pad to stick in my purse for Christmas shopping.
Well, it is time you head to the 5th Blog of Christmas!
Remember if at any point during the hop you get "lost" just head on back to the QKR Stampede blog for a complete list of the 12 blogs of Christmas! ENJOY!!!!
This is also for the following Challenge:
Simon Says Challenge - Sparkle (the bell and tree both have lots of sparkle)

Well, I just wanted to share this page with you, because I was pleased with the way it turned out. Now I must go make dinner, and maybe return to my craft cave to get some more scrapping done. I had to take a mental break...lol. I am in the middle of a page that makes me sad, so I had to walk away and clear my mind. Thanks for stopping by!

All the papers and images are from Imaginisce. I stamped the raccoon on cream CS, and colored him with watercolor crayons. I layered him onto the green rectangle. I cut 2 squares from the leaf PP, and layered those onto a red strip. The background paper is a wood grain PP. Last I added some i-Rock crystals to the corners. Thanks for stopping by...again...lol.
Overall, I was pretty pleased with the way this page turned out. And yes...it took my 2 hours, but it turned out so great! Thanks for stopping by!
Well, I am off to get some work done. It is a very nice day here, and I thought I would take advantage to get some last minute outdoor things done before we are buried in snow. Have a great day!

I used a white CS base, then added another white layer that I ran through the Cuttlebug. I added a yellow piece of PP from Cosmo Cricket, and some white lace. The sentiment is also from a Sweet 'n Sassy stamp set. I stamped it onto white CS, and punched with an oval punch.
That is all for now! Have a fantastic day!

Isn't that neat?!! It just attaches to the back of the cookie sheet! I added pieces of magnets to each chipboard piece so it would attach to the cookie sheet. As you can see, I made special pieces for holidays and birthdays. Well, I hope she likes it!
I have spent most of my weekend either sorting Girl Scout cookies, or sewing fabric banners. I volunteered to help make a Thanksgiving craft with my DD's class. I will share that with you later this week. I am really pleased with how they are turning out.

I helped her stamp this Santa image from CTMH. She colored him with colored pencils. Then we added some red stickles (bling and sparkle!) to his suit and hat, and some black stickles to his bag. She picked red for the card base, and we used this candy cane striped paper from TAC for the background. The ribbon we thought was perfect for Santa...since he says "Ho Ho Ho!". She was determined to use my foam tape, so the Santa is attached with foam tape. She saw the foam tape on the table and was begging to use it...lol.
I was trying to make the stickles look like garland. I thought it turned out pretty close...lol. Well that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

I just love this PP. I just got it from the Close to My Heart party I had in October. It is so perfect for fall. It from the Olivia collection. I layered that onto some cream CS that was in the same paper pack. I added some cream colored lace (from SU). The leaf image is from QKR Stampede. I stamped it in 3 different color inks on the cream CS. Then I used some versamark ink and put Sticky Powder on it. I have never used sticky powder before, but I have to say it is pretty neat! I layered glitter onto the sticky powder. For the sentiment, I used a rub-on, and layered it onto some reddish-brown CS that was in the same paper pack as the PP. I was very pleased with how this card turned out. Thanks for stopping by!
