Not the snappiest title tonight, but nothing would come to me. I have 2 cards for you tonight. First is a card for 2 different challenges, and the 2nd is just a little birthday card.
This first card I created using this weeks
MOJO Monday Sketch. I also made it a fall themed card to use for my
LSS challenge this week. Without further ado...
I stamped the acorn image from a new TAC set. The set is called
give thanks, and can be found in the new AVENUE magaloge. The set also includes some adorable Thanksgiving themed stamps, which I hope to use around that time. I stamped the acorn using brown ink, then colored it in with watercolor crayons. I added some gold stickles to the "vines", and some crystal stickles to the leaves. I punched it out with a square punch, and layered it onto the scalloped square. The "scalloped" look along the bottom I did by punching out circles and layering them. I used some PP I purchased a LONGGGGG time ago from the Target dollar section. The felt leaves are also from the Target dollar sections...probably the same year I bought the paper. The ribbon I found in the $1 bin at my LCS.
My second card is for my dear friend's youngest daughter's first b-day.
I used the cupcake image from TAC. It was a SOTM set back in April. I stamped the cupcake on cream CS, and paper pieced the DSP onto it. I punched it out with a scalloped square punch. I layered it onto the pink CS base, which I had already stamped the little "1" s all over as a background. The sentiment is from a SU set...as always I blank on the name of the set. I added a strip of the DSP to the inside of the CS base for some extra detail. I added some liquid applique, and glitter to the cupcake as well. Here is a close up of the cupcake.Well that is all for today. After typing this all, I realized maybe I should have titled this post something about scallops. I think I used that word about 1000 times...lol. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Great cupcake card, people will be so impressed that you "made" it!
