Hi there. So I am very excited, Sweet 'n Sassy has gone back to selling clear stamps too! They had stopped them for a while and went all Digi, well back by popular demand is the clear stamp sets! I like digi images, but there is something about the actual act of stamping with ink and rubber that I just love. I also find that with digis I can't use some of my favorite coloring "tools". I really like watercolor crayons, and with digis it smears on me all the time. So...I ordered the entire new release sets. I got 6 sets that are just great! Well last night Sweet 'n Sassy celebrated with a release party, complete with challenges and games. It is was a lot of fun, and I decided to play along with one of the challenges. Truth be told...I had already started working on this card before, but didn't feel like finishing it...until I spent some time being inspired by the great SNS DT! Well here is the card I made using the Woof You clear set.Isn't this doggie so cute???!!! I colored him with watercolor crayons, and used fun flock around the "edges" I paper pieced the bandanna on his neck. I made him a black doggie because I have a black doggie. I had him all made and decided I need some inspiration for what layout to use. I got the idea of a house from the PaperCrafts Go-to-Sketches magazine (current issue). I thought how cute he would look in a dog house. So I put it all together, and used a white gel pen to make "shingles". I added the little bone which is another stamp from the new clear SNS set. I used the same PP to make a little name plate for the dog house. I came up with "Paw Pad"...for some reason I had the bachelor pad idea stuck in my head. I was thinking of using this card to send to some friends of ours that just bought a new house. They are dog people, and actually have a new black puppy too. I thought they would get a kick out of this. Here is a close up of Woofie with his fun flock.
Well that is it for now. Stop back tomorrow for QKR Stampede Thursday!
