Today I have a card to share with you that I created for the
Sweet Stop Challenge Blog this week. I love the sketches Korin puts on this blog. They are a lot of fun. Well here is what I came up with.

This honestly wasn't my favorite card ever, but since I took the time to make it, I figured I would share. I just had to have this stamp set from
Sweet and Sassy (Dino-mite). My 2 year old little girl LOVES dinosaurs. I also really wanted to use this designer paper as well. Well, I just didn't' like the way the paper was covered so much. I think we are all our own worst critic though. Anyway, I stamped the dino, and colored him in using watercolor crayons. I added some liquid pearl to his toes for some dimension, and shine. I layered him onto a kraft CS rectangle (which I trimmed the corners on). The DSP is from basic grey archaic set. I cut it out using the scalloped oval frame sizzix die. I also cut a brown one out to frame the dino paper. The ribbon I purchased @ a local craft store. The sentiment is also from the Dino-mite set.
The other thing I wanted to share with you is soooo cute. While I was away in Florida, my 6 year old made a book about me. Since it is called "Mom's Stamps are Cool", I decided to share it. I just thought it was the sweetest thing. It made me feel special, and to know that your kids think you are the greatest kinda makes a mom feel good. Even after all those times that we have to yell and discipline. So here it is.

That is all for today. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the little book created by my 6 year old.

I agree that we are all our own worst critics. Your card came out cute, and I'm so glad you got a chance to play along with the sketch this week. :-)
