Hi there. Today is Wednesday, which means...a brand new challenge over at the
Creative Belli Challenge. This time we are challenging you to use flocking or flower soft on your project. Now I know at some point most have you have gone out and purchased one or both of these products because they looked really cool on a project you saw on a blog. BUT...how often do you really use it??? I know I bought a whole bunch of colors of flower soft back in August and still haven't used them...lol. My flocking I have had for a couple years, and don't use it as much as I could. Since the idea behind the
Creative Belli Challenge is to use embellishments (belli) that you already have laying around, this is a great time to pull out that flower soft or flocking you HAD to have, and USE IT! Here is the card I came up with for this challenge.
Ok...first off...I just LOVE this saying. LOL...and the image is just perfect to go with it. Both of these images are from
QKR Stampede. I stamped the "ewe" and fussy cut it. I used a marker to color the horns, face, and legs. To the body, I added some white flocking. I wanted to also use some flower soft on this card, so I decided to pull out the green flower soft I bought a year or so ago, and make it into the "grass". I also added a little yellow and pink to be flowers in the field.
The background paper I have had for a few months. I needed cloud paper for a project a while back, and had some scraps left. So I added that to the background. I stamped the sentiment in light blue ink and trimmed the white paper to look like a cloud. I added some liquid applique to the outer edges of the sentiment to make it "fluffy". Please stop on over to the
Creative Belli Challenge blog and see what the other DT ladies have come up with for this challenge. Don't forget to play along with us, and link your flocking or flower soft card to Mr. Linky at the bottom of the Belli Challenge 103.
I am also using this card for the following challenges:
Let's Ink It Up: Make a Scene
The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge : Multiple images (one has to be an animal)

Very cute card. I love that saying too. Ewe is so clever with the use of these products! I don't have any flower soft as I just don't think I would use it all that much. I did see how to make it somewhere, but haven't tried it yet.
Your card is sooo sweet!!!!
Thanks for joining us at Let's Ink It Up this time. Good Luck!
Hugs, Agnieszka

Like the way the flower soft looks like grass. The flocking on the ewe is ingenious.
