So my DH was super nice to me today! He took the girls out of the house all afternoon so I could craft! Well I wanted to share with you what I got done. I am soooo excited to finally be making progress on my advent calendar. Yesterday I showed you the put together base, well today I have the drawers folded, AND decorated!
I just love the way it is turning out. The PPs I used are all from the Polar Expressions collection from Imaginisce. I added some cute holiday buttons to some of the drawers too. I picked those up at Michael's awhile back. My mom helped me trim the loops off the back today. I also used stickles, iRock gems and crystals, stickers, and Smooch to embellish. Here are some close-ups of some of the drawers.
As you can see from the photos, I still haven't done anything with the center. I did get a couple good suggestions that I am thinking over still. So hopefully over the next couple weeks I will figure something out, and be able to share that with you. My girls were very excited to see the progress when they got home today too. It's turning out great! You sure got a lot of work done on it today. Can't wait to see what you do with the center. The Girls are going to love that for years to come.
