A Cocoa Diary

Hi there, and Happy Tuesday! Tuesday means...a brand new Crazy 4 Cocoa Challenge!!! Oh I just love Tuesdays...lol. Today's challenge is to use Rick Rack...with a Cocoa image...of course. Well I decided to make an altered item today. I started with this...My DH is attending Capella U. right now, and they sent him this really nice little journal/notebook. Well, I thought it was plain and boring, so I had to "fix it"! So here is what I did.

Ok...so it is not so "manly" anymore...but I like it...lol. I used scor-tape to put the SEI papers onto the book. Then I used some white tape along the binding to "hide" the paper edges. I then used this adorable digi image called Write Soon Cocoa. I added a little color to Cocoa, and the pen. I tried to make it look like the pen writes pink too. I layered that onto another pink paper, and onto the journal. Then I added some pink Rick Rack, and the little oval sentiment. I hand wrote "my diary". I just love the way this turned out. Now...maybe I should start a diary...lol.
