Today I wanted to share a card I made using part of the In Love Turtle image from QKR Stampede. This is a little different then how I usually use a stamp. I am one of those all or nothing people when it comes to using an image...lol. Well today I only used a small square of the image. Check it out... I tried to get them all slightly different, but not too different. Then I colored with colored pencils. Notice the only colors are really yellow and purple...with a hint of green. After coloring the images, I layered onto the purple flower PP from Papertrey Ink. For the sentiment, I layered some white CS onto some yellow PP, and did a little ink distressing. The sentiment is a sticker. Last, I added the felt ribbon along the bottom. A very CAS card, but still cute.
Well I am off to celebrate my 10 year anniversary with my hubby today! We are heading to a lunch date, then just hanging out and relaxing.
