Biblical Impressions Blog Hop - Wing It

Hi there, and welcome to the Biblical Impressions Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Jessica B's blog, then you are on the right path. If this is your first stop, then head on over to the main Biblical Impressions Blog, and start from the top.

This month we are featuring "Wings"...so basically anything with wings. The birds, and bees, and well...yeah I guess not really that kinda thing...but you know what i mean...lol. Well here is what I came up with.

For my card I decided to use the Lg. Dragonfly stamp. I think dragonflies are pretty neat...well at least the ones that you can ink up and stamp. Not going to lie, the real ones freak me out...lol. I stamped this guy onto cream CS, and trimmed it down. Next, I stamped the wings again on silver metallic paper, and paper pieced the wings onto the first dragonfly. Then I colored his body with green colored pencil, and added some smootch to it. Next i layered onto some green polka dot PP, and brown CS. I also added some cream ribbon. For the sentiment, I used a sticker.

Well that is all from me, now head on over to see what...

Biblical Impressions Blog Hop - Spring!

Hi there, and welcome to the Biblical Impressions DT Blog Hop! If you just arrived here from Sarah's Blog, then you are on the right path. If you are starting here, then please head back to the main Biblical Impressions Blog, and start from the top of the hop order. Our theme this month is "Spring"! Don't know about where you live, but here my tulips and daffodils are starting to pop up. Oh I love spring! So for my card I picked a stamp with tulips. I have been trying to use up some of the papers in my stash (...and staying FAR away from the craft stores), so I pulled out this paper set from TAC. There was a bunch of pre-cut tags, so I thought it would be fun to stamp on one of those. I used brown ink, and stamped the Tulips stamp from Biblical Impressions onto that. I layered that onto a piece of tan PP, and used some green fibers for embellishment. I used a sticker for my sentiment. A very simple card, but lately that is all my brain can make...lol.

Now head on over to...

Biblical Impressions Blog Hop - Love

Hi there. Welcome to the Biblical Impressions DT Blog hop! This month we are featuring stamps that go with the "Love" theme. I decided to make some Valentine's cards for my DD to use at school. I shared some of the other ones earlier this week, so today for the hop, I will share the rest of the ones I made using Biblical Impressions stamps!

So...first some house keeping. If you arrived here from Jessica's blog, then you are on the right path. If not, then head on back to the main Biblical Impressions/QKR Stampede Blog, and start from the top so you don't miss a project.

Well if you are on the right track, then here is my project....

The close up.... For these Valentine's cards, I used the Valentine stamp on the bottom. I stamped it with purple ink, onto the cream CS. For my main image, I used the adorable Infatuate Toad stamp. I stamped him with green ink, and like the other cards I made, I didn't' color them in. My reasoning...I wanted my girls to be able to color them for their friends.

Now, I will send you off to your next stop on the hop...

Biblical Impressions Winter Blog Hop

Hi there...welcome to the Biblical Impressions Winter themed blog hop. If you arrived here from Sarah's Blog, then you are on the right path...if not then head on back to the main Biblical Impressions Blog and start the hop from the top! Our theme this month is winter...not that we have had much of it here in WNY. We usually have at least a foot of snow on the ground by now, and well...I see my grass right now. My daughters are so upset...since they love to ski. Well here is the card I came up with for the hop. I started with the Patchwork Glove Stamp from Biblical Impressions. I stamped it off and colored with watercolor crayons. Next, I layered onto some PP from Echo Park. I added some ribbon, and some little gems to the corners. I wanted to go "winter" without the holiday reds and greens...lol...so I went with the mint color for my card.

Well that is all from me, head on off to your next stop on the hop...

Biblical Impression Blog Hop - Thanksgiving

Hi and welcome to the Biblical Impressions Blog Hop. If you arrived here from Christine's Blog, then you are on the right path. If you are just arriving here, then head back to the main Biblical Impressions Blog, and start from the top. Our theme this time is Thanksgiving/Gratitude. Here is the card I came up with for this hop.

I really wanted to showcase the Give Thanks Sentiment from the Biblical Impressions Store. I thought it was such a pretty font. So I decided to make a simple card to feature it. I went in search of some "Thanksgiving" themed PP the other night, and found this paper you see on the background. I loved all the different designs it had on it. The back of the paper was the pretty green, so I used a piece of that to stamp the sentiment onto. I layered onto a cream CS base, and added some mustard yellow ribbon. See...very simple, yet very elegant.

Well now I must send you off to your next stop along the hop...

Biblical Impressions Blog Hop

Hi there, and welcome to the Biblical Impressions Blog Hop. If you are arriving here from the Main Blog, then you are on the right path! Our theme this time around is Friendship/Encouragement. Boy did I need this theme right now in my life! I actually had a dear friend in mind when I made this card. Here is what I came up with. I started by stamping the Sentiment stamp called I am Blessed with black ink on grey CS. Next, I layered that onto some darker grey. For my base, I used some PP I got from a QKR Stampede card kit. These card kits are available at the show booths when QKR Stampede does a convention/show. All the papers on this card are from one of those kits. Next I layered the flowers...which are also from our sister company QKR Stampede. Finally I added the little iRock gems along the circle. Very simple, but really says what needs to be said to someone you really care about.

Now off you go to your next stop on this hop...

I layered that onto the PPs from BoBunny. I added some ribbon, and then the sentiment. The Sentiment is also from Biblical Impressions, and can be found HERE. You like this Turkey Girl image? Biblical Impressions Blog Hop - Bookmarks

Hi there! If you just arrived here from DAWN's BLOG then you are on the right path. If not, please head back to the Biblical Impressions Blog and be sure to start there for this fabulous bookmark themed hop! That is right...bookmarks. We are featuring the bookmark stamps from the Biblical Impressions store for this hop. There are over 60 of them to choose from, and really is something for everyone. Be sure to check out the store after you have finished the hop. Here is what I have to share with you today. I used the To Everything Bookmark stamp for my project today. Ecclesiastes chapter 3 is my favorite chapter in the Bible. This passage just has so much meaning to me. Actually I needed to be reminded of this passage just yesterday when I got some "bad news". I recently interviewed for a job, and well...I didn't get it. I am very disappointed, BUT...I know that GOD has something else planned for me. Anyway...I stamped the image on kraft CS, and trimmed it down. Then I layered onto a piece of light blue CS. I used the pretty butterfly PP from SEI for my background. I used some sheer ribbon from my stash for the top of the bookmark.

Well, I must send you off to see some more bookmarks now. Head on over to see what

MONIKA

has in store for you.

If at any point you get lost, just head back to the main BI blog for a complete hop order. Be sure to stop by the Biblical Impressions store, and check out all the fabulous bookmark stamps too!

Christmas in July - Biblical Impressions Blog Hop

Hi there, and welcome to the Christmas in July Biblical Impressions Blog Hop! The official start time for this hop is 8am EST July 1st. So, if you arrived early, hang in there until we make sure all links are up and running.

If you arrived here from the Main Biblical Impressions (QKR Stampede) blog, then you are on the right track. If at any point during the hop you get "lost", please head back there for a complete hop order. Well...onto business...here is my Christmas creations...I figured this was a great time to get started on my Christmas cards for this year. So...I made 5 of the same style card using the Jesus Savior word tree stamp. Ok, and I will admit...the entire time I was making these cards I kept singing "Wonderful...COunseler...Almighty GOD...", you get the point...lol. These cards are very simple, but turned out very pretty. The troubles I had in the past with Christmas cards, is I made the "plan" for them too complicated...so I wanted to go simple, so I can get them done on time. Here is a close up of each of the 3 different cards.
As you can see, I used the same PP for each (from CTMH), just the other side for some of them. Then I added the red CS piece. The image was then stamped with Versamark, and embossed with either gold or copper powder. After layering those onto the card base, I added either a little charm brad, or a flower brad.

Well, I must send you off to your next stop on the hop...

Biblical Impressions Patriotic Blog Hop

Hi there, and welcome to the first ever Biblical Impressions Design Team Blog HOp! I am so glad you have decided to join us today. If you just arrived here from DAWN'S Blog, then you are on the right path. If not...please head back to the main blog (QKR/BI/Eureka Blog) for a complete hop order. And don't forget to leave some love along the way...we love comments! (Although, blogger has been giving issues with comments lately...uggg) Anyway...back on track...today we are sharing 4th of July and Summer themed projects with you using Biblical Impressions images. Here is what I came up with.

I started by stamping off both the Flag Girl image and the God Bless America image. I then colored both images using watercolor crayons. Next, I fussy cut them out, and layered onto the firework PP. I wanted it to look like the little girl was standing there watching the fireworks. Then I fussy cut the words out. Each word has a little bit of a boarder around it, which made it easy to cut. Then I added some red, white, and blue stickles around each word. I love the way the words "sparkle" in the "sky". I also added some red stickles to the bow and hair thingy on the little girl. I hope we all remember that our country was founded on faith...we really need to bring that back! Biblical Impressions has some fabulous images to be used to share your faith too. Be sure to check out the online store for 100's of fantastic images...and now head on over to ...
