My Weekend Project

So I realized I haven't posted my own work in about a week...lol. So I thought I would share a little of my weekend project I worked on. As you know, I am not much of a scrapbooker, but I thought it was about time I worked on my 2010 album again. So I pulled everything out, and decided to finish the March photos, and start the April. I was able to get the last 3 pages of March photos done, and moved onto April. Now...I usually don't do any sort of fancy layouts, unless it is for a contest. So I was very proud of these two pages. Please understand...the fact that I made a 2 page layout that went together was a BIG accomplishment...lol. They aren't anything fancy at all, but they go together! So I thought I would share them with you. These are the first two pages for my April part of the album. The 2 page spread.Page 1

The background paper is from Creative Keepsakes Stacks I got at the Convention. These stacks are great! They come with lots of stuff, papers, rub-ons, vellum sayings, punchout pieces, etc. The solid CS is from the stack also. I used my Cricut to cut the "LAND" word (which is what we call our property). The flowers on page 1 are some of the punchouts from the stack too. The April sticker is from a set of month stickers I purchased at one of the chain craft stores. I did my journaling after I took the photos...so you can't see my terrible writing...lol. Sorry the photos aren't the greatest, I am not good at taking photos of the 12x12 pages.

Well that is all for now. Thanks for stopping by. I will be working on some cards tomorrow for a couple challenges, and don't forget Friday is the QKR Stampede Back to School Blog Hop!

Glad you got some layouts done. Great job!
One of these days we'll have to get together at MHP and get some more done.
Am ready for that blog hop too. Get some great inspiration from it!
