QKR Stampede Blog hop - Snowpeople

Welcome to your first stop on the QKR Stampede Snowman theme blog hop! If you are arriving here from the QKR Stampede Blog, then you are on the right path. If not, then head back there for a complete hop order. Our theme this time around is snowmen. There are so many adorable snowmen images in the QKR Stampede store HERE. For my project, I used the Saying Hello snowman stamp.

As you can see I actually made 4 cards. I wanted to try something different...I guess a little personal challenge. So I challenged myself to be "minimal"...lol. I used 2 full pieces of red CS, and one long piece of gingham ribbon, and 1 image. The ribbon was enough to make all 4 cards! I stamped the images and added just a little color to each one. Then I layered them all a little different. For the sentiments, I used a couple of the stamps from the Deck the Halls set. Here are a couple close ups. Well that is all from me, so now I send you off to your next stop in the hop...

Thanks for hopping with us!

QKR Stampede Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to the QKR Stampede Blog Hop. I am your first stop after the QKR Stampede Blog, so if you arrived from there, you are on the right path. If at any point you get "lost", just head back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete hop order. Our theme this time is Get Well / Encouragementt. We are featuring some of the great stamps in that category from the QKR Stampede Store. For my card, I made a get well card. I started by stamping off the Sick as a Dog stamp on white CS. Next I colored him in with colored pencils and Gamsol. I trimmed it down, and layered onto some PP from TAC. I added some golden/yellowish ribbon. Last, I stamped the Get Well sentiment in black ink on the bottom.

Well that is all from me...now head on over to see what

has come up with. Enjoy your time with us!

QKR Stampede Blog Hop - Nature /Animals

Hi there! Welcome to the QKR Stampede Blog Hop. If you just arrived here from the QKR Stampede Blog, then you are on the right path! The complete hop order is available there too, so if you get lost at any point, just head back there to pick up where you left off. For now...let me show you what I made for our Nature or Animal themed hop. I started with this beautiful Blue Jays stamp. I stamped it onto kraft CS, and colored with watercolor crayons. Next, I cut it using my CM cutting system, and layered it onto another circle. The PP and ribbon on this card are from Imaginisce. I then added some little "pearl like" embellishments to the bottom corner. Last I stamped the Happy Birthday along the bottom. My mom said she needed a masculine birthday card, and I think this would work. Nothing frilly here...lol. Well I must send you off to your next stop now. Please go visit...

Trains, Boats, and Automobiles - QKR Stampede Blog Hop

Ok...so I think the movie was called Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, but you get the idea...lol. Welcome to the QKR Stampede Blog Hop. Our theme this time is boys - trains, boats, and cars. If you arrived here from DAWN'S blog, then you are on the right track (get it...track...ha ha...yeah I know it is bad humor). If you just arrived here, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog and start from the top of the hop order. Well...if you are ready, I will share my project with you. A couple weeks ago, I showed you this photo......and I said to stay tuned to see what I do with these little blocks. Well today is the day! Here is the pieces I used for this project... The blocks I got at AC Moore, and PP is from my LSS. The whimsical looking red train is from the back side of the PP (the one with all the little trains), and the other image is the Train from the QKR Stampede store. This image actually comes in a couple different sizes, but this is the
bigger of them. Ok...onto the next stage. I colored in the train image with markers. I did a very simple coloring job on this one because of what I was making with it. Then I got to work. I grabbed my Modge Podge, a brush, and and xecto knife. I brushed the Modge Podge onto the back of the papers, and "glued" them down to the blocks.

This next photos shows you a little bit more of the blocks before they were cut apart. After each side was dry, I would slice the blocks apart using the blade. SIDE NOTE: If I were to do this again, I think I would cut my papers just slightly smaller then the area I was covering...due to over lapping. Or, I would have actually cut them into little 1" pieces and gluing each square separately. BUT...this worked okay for me this way. Well...here is a glimpse of what I had when I was done. I covered all the sides of the blocks. Now...here is the side with the QKR Stampede Train image... And here is what it looks like when the PUZZLE is all put together!
Pretty cool huh? I think I will try doing something like this again soon. I really like how it turned out. What a great gift idea for a little boy. Now I think I need to go whip up a little case to put this in...lol...actually I have an idea....but we will save that for another day. For now I must send you off to the next stop on the Blog Hop route. Head on over and see what...

...has in store for you. Thanks for stopping by!

QKR Stampede - Christmas in July Blog Hop

Hi there, and welcome to the QKR Stampede Christmas in July Blog hop! If you just arrived here from the QKR Stampede Blog, then you are on the right track! If not, be sure to head back there first to get all the details on how you can WIN!!!! There are 3 chances to win this month, so make sure you go back and read all the details. Well now onto my cards I made for this hop. I decided to use the Snowman Christmas Tree image for my cards today. I wanted to try to make 2 different cards using the same image, and here is what I did. As you can see, the PP is all the same (from SEI), but the way I used the image is slightly different. For the first card, I just stamped him off with black ink and added a little bit of color using markers. I also added some stickles to the star, ornaments, and buttons. For the second card, I stamped the image with Versamark onto the green PP. Then I embossed with sparkly white embossing powder. I was going for a different type of look with this one, and very simple. I did add some stickles to this one too. Last, I added the sentiments to each of them. It is one of the 4 holiday sentiments that come in the Deck the Halls stamp set. All 4 sentiments are holiday/Christmas, but in different fonts and sizes. I like the diversity of that set. Well that is all from me. I will merrily send you off to your next stop along this hop which is....

KRISTIE

Summer Celebration Blog Hop - QKR Stampede

Hi there, and welcome to our Summer Celebration QKR Stampede Blog Hop! If you just arrived here from KRISTIE'S BLOG, then you are on the right path. If not, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog so you don't miss one bit of our Summer Celebration! So if you are on the right path...let's continue...and what is a celebration without...CUPCAKES!!!!I decided to go a different route this time around. Instead of a card, I used the cool Waving Flag image from the QKR Stampede store to create some cupcake picks. I started by coloring the stamp with markers instead of using an ink pad. That way I could get the red and blue on the image. I stamped them off, and fussy cut all but a small tab on the end of each one. The I grabbed some tape and toothpicks, and went to town...lol.I folded the little tab I left over the toothpick and taped it down. A little "trick"...the tape needs to fold over the front of the image too. Otherwise, the image will slip off the toothpick too easily. Here is what it looks like done. My girls couldn't wait to help get these little flags into the cupcakes. I bought the cupcakes yesterday, and they have been eyeing them up ever since. BUT they had to wait until after mommy used them for her blog post...lol. So I let them help me get the photos ready. Here they are helping me put the flag picks into the cupcakes.

And finally...a lovely yummy plate of Patriotic cupcakes! How fun would a tray of these be at your 4th of July Picnic????!!! Now my girls will be happy because they can eat these yummy cupcakes for snack! LOL.

Well I must send you off to your next stop in our Summer Celebration. Wait until you see what...

May Flowers Blog Hop

HI there! Welcome to the QKR Stampede May Flowers Blog Hop! If you have arrived here from KRISTIE'S BLOG then you are on the right path. If you are starting here...well you missed a whole bunch of great projects...so please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog, and start from there.

This month the fabulous DT ladies are sharing projects we made using some of the flower images available in the QKR Stampede Store. There are so many fabulous floral images to choose from. Check them out HERE to see them all. For my project I decided to use the Large Roses image. This image is also available in a smaller size, since this one is actually pretty big. What I like about this image is because it is so big, you can make a quick simple card using just this image. Well, today I decided to make an altered project. A while back, I went to an event at my LSS, we made a "cover" for this paper pad, but silly me, never attached it. Which now is paying off...lol. I pulled it out, and started over. Here is the before...Inside...After...LOVE IT! Sooo easy, and such a great gift. I used a green CS square , and layered another green CS square on that. (Different shades of course) Before attaching the layers together, I stamped the Lg. Roses image onto the top layer. I stamped in a green ink to stick with the color scheme. Next, I grabbed my bottle of green stickles, and glittered up just the roses. Last, I added the raffia bow (which was actually from a bag of shortbread cookies we got at Panera Bread...lol...yes I saved it...it was so perfectly tied!)

Well that is all for now. I hope you have enjoyed the hop as much as I did. I just love seeing what the other ladies come up with. Now head on back to the QKR Stampede Blog

Here is the order...

Slow and Steady Blog Crawl - QKR Stampede

Hi there and welcome to the QKR Stampede "Slow and Steady Blog Crawl"!!!
If you arrived here from Roxie's blog then you are on the right path. If this is your first stop, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog and start from the top. You don't want to miss a bit of this hop! SO...if you did come from Roxie's blog...lets get started! First...wasn't her project great???!!! I just love seeing all the creative talent from the rest of the DT. This hop we are featuring some of the turtle images that are available in the QKR Stampede store. Hence the "slow and steady" title. I actually made a card to go right along with the title today.I started by stamping this running turtle called "Slow and Steady" (see...perfect...lol). I actually picked this image because my oldest DD recently joined a program called Girls on the Run. It is an national program for young girls grades 3-8. They not only train to run a 5k, but they work on self-esteem, nutrition, and more. I was sooo excited that she was able to be a part of this. So...back to the card...I thought this would be the perfect image to use for a future scrapbook page, as well as a card for the coach at the end of the season. So I colored him/or her in this case with watercolor crayons, and layered onto the PP. The PPs are all from TAC. I just loved the color combos in the papers, and all the greens reminded me of turtles. Well now, I must send you off for some more eye candy! Head on over to...
Don't forget if you get lost anytime along the way to head back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete list of the "crawl" order. Thanks for crawling by!!!

If this is your first stop, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog and start from the top. You don't want to miss a bit of this hop! SO...if you did come from Jerusha's Blog...lets get started! First...wasn't her project great???!!! I just love seeing all the creative talent from the rest of the DT. This hop we are featuring some of the sun, moon, and/or star images that are available in the QKR Stampede store.
For my card today I used both the Patchwork Sun and the Patchwork Moon images. I just think these are sooo cute. There is also a Patchwork star available in the QKR Stampede store too. I started by coloring the images with marker. I added some smootch to the little patches on both images too. Then I fussy cut them out, and layered onto the PP from Basic Grey. I wanted to go with a little bit different type of card, so I went with a rounded base. Next, I used my Cricut to cut out the words "day or night". Then I hand wrote the rest of the sentiment on the inside...I thought this would make a cut any occasion card. I really like the way it turned out. Well now, I must send you off for some more eye candy! Head on over to...
Don't forget if you get lost anytime along the way to head back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete list of the hop order. Thanks for stopping by!!!

I stamped her on white CS, and colored with markers. I added some yellow stickles to the wings, and part of the halo. I also added some white liquid applique to the cloud to make it puffy. QKR Stampede Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

My fellow DT ladies...do NOT disappoint! Don't forget to leave comments on each blog of the hop for your chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the QKR Stampede Store. WOW!!! Now that is a treat! If you are starting here, you will want to head back to the QKR Stampede Blog for the complete details on how to win, and for a list of the hop order. That is handy in case you get "Lost" along the way...lol. Now onto my card. Isn't this image so pretty???!!! I had to have it when I saw it. It is called Love Words. I thought it was neat to see all the languages in the shape of a heart. This image would also be nice for a wedding or anniversary card. For my card, I stamped the image with Versamark, and embossed with silver embossing powder. Then I used a sponge to add some pink, and to show the heart shape more. Since I had the sponge out, I decided to go a little ink distressing crazy too...lol. I ink distressed the edges of all the papers on the card. I layered the image on to some dark grey PP from SEI, and the printed paper is from the Target $1 spot. Last I added some embellishments. Little side note...all the embellishments on this card were my 6 year old daughter's idea...lol. She kept handing me things to use. First she found this heart paper clip on my table (which I had forgotten about), and asked me to use that. Then I needed something for the corners, so she went and pulled out these pink pearls, and said "How about these mom?"...I just love this kid =). Now I had to stop her, because she wanted me to add more, but sometimes less is more. Well that is all I have for you here, so I am going to send you off to see my DT friend...

Check out her project. And don't forget to leave comments along then way! If for some reason you get lost, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete hop order.

So now that we have that taken care of...onto my creation. Our theme this hop is Winter Fun or Winter Sports. There are so many fun images in the QKR Stampede Store that fall into this category. If you haven't checked them out yet, be sure to do that. I decided to use this Ice Skating Penguin image for my card today. I started with a white CS base, and layered the PP from Imaginisce onto that. I thought the skate paper was perfect with this image. Next I layered the striped ribbon onto that. I stamped the image onto white CS, and colored with colored pencils. I added some black stickles to his skates, to go with the PP's black blades. The sentiment is actually a sticker that I cut up and layered onto the ovals. Last I added the little crocheted flower. This flower was actually made by my Mommy! She made a whole bunch of them for me to take to a crop last weekend. I just love them, and can't wait for her to make me more. I added a little blue button to that.

Well that is all from me today. Now hop along to

12 Blogs of Christmas - QKR Blog Hop

On the 4th blog of Christmas my true love gave to me... okay so you probably don't really want me to sing, but it was a fun thought...lol WELCOME WELCOME to the QKR Stampede "12 Blogs of Christmas" blog hop! If you are joining me from Carol's blog, then you are right on track. If you just started here on my blog, then you will want to head back to the QKR Stampede blog, and start from the top. You don't want to miss any of the "12 Blogs of Christmas". So if you are right on track then let us continue! I am so excited about this blog hop, why???? Well, I love Christmas! Although I am freaking out a little that it is a little over a month away, but still I love it...lol. Christmas is always such a magical time in our house. I have 3 little girls that just love the whole holiday thing. Well, I should stop rambling, and show you my projects. I made 2 for this hop. My first project is an altered item. I was at a local dime store called Viddler's a few weeks ago with my mom. I saw this bell, and had to have it. I wanted to "fix" it as I like to say. I have never stamped on metal before, so I thought it would be fun. I thought it turned out pretty well. I stamped the little Reindeer Gift image onto the bell using Staz-on ink. I actually stamped it on both sides, but the first side "slipped" a little, so I won't show you that side...lol. To color it, I purchased some Sharpie paint markers. The colors are a lot more limited then other choices, but they had what I needed for this. I also added some red stickles to his nose, and green to the ribbon on the gift. Now I may need to hide this thing before too long...my girls keep ringing it, and it is very "cowbell" loud! ha ha.
My next project is a little homemade "Christmas List" note pad. A couple years ago I purchased (well my mom purchased for me) a binding system. It is not a fancy one, but it does the job, and I like it! Anyway, I started with 2 pieces of white CS, and layered some SEI PP onto those. For the middle, I used some pieces of loose leaf paper the I trimmed up. On the front I used some scraps of white CS and hand wrote the sentiments on it. I then used the TREE image from QKR Stampede. I stamped it onto white CS, and colored it with watercolor crayons. I detail trimmed it, and attached it to the front of the note pad. Then I used my i-Rock at add some little heat set gems to be ornaments. I thought this would be a handy little pad to stick in my purse for Christmas shopping.

Well, it is time you head to the 5th Blog of Christmas!

KRISTINE'S BLOG!!!

Remember if at any point during the hop you get "lost" just head on back to the QKR Stampede blog for a complete list of the 12 blogs of Christmas! ENJOY!!!!

This is also for the following Challenge:

You can see all the details on how to enter at the QKR Stampede blog. Wooo...now that we have gotten through all that I have a fun project to share with you using the Thanksgiving Feast image. Isn't this guy adorable!!!!! I decided to make an altered candle for this hop. I haven't done this in YEARS, so I thought it would be fun to try again. I was cleaning my linen closet the other day, and found this candle...still wrapped in the cello wrap...lol. Who knows how long that has been in there. I stamped this guy on some tissue paper, and colored him with marker. Then I used my heat tool to "melt" it onto the candle. Next, I stamped the Happy Thanksgiving sentiment onto some tissue paper. I trimmed off the "happy" and put that onto the candle. I thought it would make a cute centerpiece for my table this year. Altered candles are so simple to make, and look very "impressive" when people see them. They make great gifts too!

Alright...your time here is done...time to hop on over to my talented friend

Somethings Brewing!!!! QKR Stampede Blog Hop!

Hello!!! Welcome Welcome! I am so glad you are hopping along with us today! Today is the QKR Stampede Design Team Blog Hop! We are featuring fall and Halloween images today from the awesome QKR Stampede stamp line. Now...first order of business...if you are starting here on my blog, you need to head on over to the QKR Stampede Blog, and start from there. Trust me you won't regret taking the time to do that. If you arrived here from...
...then you are right on track!

So now...onto my creations. I have 2 for you today. I just loved the choices of Halloween images in the QKR Stampede Store. So many adorable fall images too. I decided to go with some Halloween stamps for this hop. My first project is a card. I just LOVED this little bat image he caught my eyes right away. You can find him HERE , and his name is Blind Bat.
I stamped him off and colored him with water color crayons. I find that when an image is "meant" to be black, I like to either use colored pencils or water color crayons. It also helps to see all the details on his wings too. I made his little glasses orange because of the whole orange being a Halloween color. I "fussy cut" him and layered onto a black CS diamond. The PP is from SEI, and I had to get it when I saw it, because I thought it would go so well with this stamp! For the sentiment, I hand wrote with white gel pen onto black CS, and layered the pieces of black onto the crazy lined PP. The black and white "crazy lines" paper is actually the reverse side of the bat PP. I thought it looked neat because it brought out the lines in the back of the bats too. It is hard to see from the photo, but there are green crazy lines on the bat paper too. Here is my second project for this hop. This adorable little witch is called Riding. I colored her with colored pencils and Gamsol (my latest favorite thing EVER...lol). I used a sizzix pillow box die, and cut out the pillow box. I "fussy cut" the little witch out and layered her onto the pillow box front. I added some yellow stickles to be stars. I thought this might be a cute classroom gift for Halloween treats...of course that would mean I have to mass produce 50 of them...lol. So...not positive if I am going to go with this yet. LOL. I really liked this image though because it is very cute...she isn't a scary looking witch at all. As a matter of fact, pretty much all the Halloween images in the QKR Stampede store are cute and not scary looking. As a mom of little ones, I like that a lot!

Well that is all I got for you. Don't forget to leave comments as you hop along...there is a PRIZE involved in our hop today! You will need to be sure to leave a comment on each DT lady's blog, as well as the QKR Stampede Blog. Now...I am going to send you off on a broomstick to

JERUSHA'S BLOG!!!!

If at any point during the hop (flight), you get lost, just head on back to the QKR Stampede Blog and find your next stop. Thanks so much for flying by!!!! Have a SPOOK-tacular day!

School Days - QKR Stampede Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Welcome to the August QKR Stampede DT Blog Hop! If you just arrived here from Carol's Blog, then you are on the right track. Wasn't Carol's project great???!!! She is so very talented. If you are just starting the hop here on my blog, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog, and start the hop from the beginning. Trust me it will be worth starting from the beginning!
Well, if you are right on track, then it is time to share my School Days themed card with you. Oh I just love these turtles stamps from QKR Stampede! There is a whole bunch of them to choose from too, and they pretty much cover every season or holiday that you could possibly need. This particular guy is called School Day, and couldn't be more perfect for this back to school themed hop! He just looks so ready to get back to class. I know my girls are pretty anxious to get back to the books too, of course they have the added excitement of a new school this year too. I colored this image with markers. The BG papers are from a school set of papers I got at the CKC convention back in May. I used alphabet stickers for the "Back to Class" saying across the bottom.
Well, I won't keep you any longer...you really need to head over the very talented

DESIREE's

blog now. I am positive you won't be disappointed in her work.

And remember, if at any point during the hop you get off track, just head back to the QKR Stampede Blog, and pick up where you left off. Oh, and don't forget to leave a comment for each of us...we love to read your comments!

Frosty in July QKR Stampede Blog Hop!

Hi there hoppers! Welcome to our July Design Team Blog hop for QKR Stampede! We are so happy you have decided to hop along with us. If you just arrived from Carol's Blog then you are on the right track. If you started here, please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog, and start hopping along from the beginning. Trust me, you don't want to miss any of these "Frosty in July" cards we have for you.

As you can see from the title and the previous blogs (weren't they great???!!!!), we are featuring Christmas and Winter images this month. Well here is my card. So mine isn't so "frosty", but it is still Christmasy (I don't think that is a word...lol). I choose this image for a reason. My oldest brother and his family just moved from the Orlando, FL area to Dallas, TX. I thought this image would be adorable to send them on a card this holiday. Which will be their first in TX. Here is a close-up of the cactus image.

Oh, I guess it would help if I told you the name of this cute cactus image...It is called Christmas Cactus (ironic...lol), and you can find this image and many other Christmas images right HERE in the QKR Stampede Store. So, I colored the image with markers, and added some stickles to the lights and the ornaments. I just love that little snake peeking out behind too...lol. I layered the image onto some PP from TAC. The sentiment is also from QKR Stampede and is called "Cowboy Christmas". I thought it went perfect with the cactus. I stamped it in black ink, and then went over the whole thing with red stickles. I was originally just going to do the Christmas word, but got a little too excited...ha ha. Here is a close up of my over-excited stickles experience.Last, I added some ribbon, and buttons. Hello there hoppers! Welcome to our June Design Team Blog hop! If you arrived here from Barb's Blog then you are right on track...if you started here, please hop on back to the QKR Stampede Blog, and start from the top...trust me you won't want to miss any of the great projects the DT had made for you to see. A few things to remember, if at any point during the hop you get "lost", just head on back to the QKR Blog and see where you left off. Hopefully we have gotten any kinks worked out for you, but you never know what the Internet is going to do...lol.
Well, as you have already seen, our theme this month is Picnic/Patriotic Cards or projects. Haven't the projects so far been great? The DT ladies are all so talented! I have made a 4th of July card for you today. Although I have never sent a 4th of July card, I figure it would be fun...lol. Here is what I came up with.
Aren't these ants so cute???!!! I used two different ant stamps for this card. There are a lot of cute little ant stamps in the QKR Store too. As soon as I saw these 2 stamps, this idea came to my head. I stamped the images and colored them with watercolor crayons. I then trimmed them down...which was very detailed cutting...ha ha. I used a white CS base, and layered a piece of light blue to be the sky. Then I used some shredder scissors to make grass. I bought these scissors from AVON a while back and have never used them...but I bought them thinking they would make great grass. Next I layered the first ant (Match Stick) on the front of the grass. Then I put the other ant image (Fire Cracker) behind the grass...so he looks like he is walking away. I added a little sponged sun to the corner. I punched out the conversation balloons, and hand wrote on them. I thought what they are saying was funny...lol. The firecrackers remind me of 4th of July. We hear them going off all the time during the week of the 4th..and then some...ha ha. I figure ants are always assumed picnic guests too. The little ant brads I picked up the other day at my LSS. Here is the inside of the card.Well that is all from me today. I will send you off to your next stop on the hop now. Please don't forget to leave comments on each DT Ladies Blog also. We love comments & if you leave comments on all our blogs as well as the DT Blog there is an awesome prize! All details to win the prize can be found on the QKR Stampede Blog!

Now head on over to see what SARAH has in store for you. Thanks for stopping by!

It's A Boy Thing...QKR Stampede Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our May QKR Stampede Blog Hop. If you did not arrive here from Jerusha's Blog then you need to go back to the QKR Stampede Blog to start from the top. Trust me you don't want to miss a bit of this! If for some reason along the way one of the links didn't work please head back to the QKR Stampede Blog and click on the next DT Ladies blog from there, but hopefully we already have any kinks worked out. Don't forget to comment on each DT members blog as you go...there is an AWESOME prize being offered during our hop this month. There is a $25 gift certificate up for grabs!!!! Who wouldn't want that????!!!!

Ok...now you should have already picked up on our theme by the time you arrived here, but we are going with "It's A Boy Thing!" So here is my take on that.
So this whole boy thing is always a tough one for me. I have a house full of girls, with the exception of my hubby...lol. I did however think this little guy was adorable...and it seemed like a boy thing to carry a frog around. Although my girls do catch little toads at our property in the country all the time. It always amazes me how they go from princesses to mud queens when we go to the land. Well I stamped this little guy called Little Boy onto white CS and colored him with markers. I trimmed him out and layered him onto the cute froggy paper from TAC. I sat and stared at him for a while before coming up with a sentiment for him. I had this punch to cut out the quote balloon, so I used that and hand wrote the sentiment. I thought the little play on words was funny...so did my 7 year old...lol. "I toadally froggot your birthday!" Now check out these froggy eyes!I am so glad I took the time to go in the Bass Pro Shop...these eyes were so worth the money and time going in the store. Such a simple thing that adds so much to the card.

Alright that is all I have for you...don't FROGGET to leave a comment on each blog...you may have a chance to get this adorable Little Boy stamp for yourself, and some of the other awesome QKR Stampede stamps.

Now hop along on over to see what Laralee has in store for you.

Don't FROGGET if you get lost along the way, just head on back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete list of our fablous DT blogs.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony...QKR BLOG HOP!

Hello and Welcome to the first ever QKR Stampede DT Blog Hop! We are celebrating with a "Ribbon Cutting Ceremony". If this is your first stop on the hop, then you need to go back to the QKR Stampede Blog HERE...you don't want to miss any of this...trust me. Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think, as well as you maybe entered in to win the prize.

QKR Stampede is a great new stamping company, if you haven't checked out all the amazing stamps they have yet be sure to stop there before you are done today.
We decided to celebrate the "grand opening" of our DT with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, which means all of us have ribbon on our cards/projects. Here is the card I have to share with you today.
Isn't this little girl just adorable????!!!! The image is called "Picking Flowers", and is just one of the many adorable images that can be found in the QKR store. I actually built the color scheme for this card from the ribbon I had. My daughter had gotten a lollipop, and this was the ribbon tied on it. She asked me if I wanted it for my stamping, and I of course said yes. Well I have heard teal is the color for this year, so I thought it would be perfect. I started with a white CS base, added the teal PP, and the teal (recycled) ribbon. I stamped the image on white CS and colored it in with colored pencils. And I can't make a girly card without some sort of sparkle, so I added some stickles to her heart patch, and hat flower. I also used some gold liquid pearl on the flower centers. I hand wrote the sentiment with a teal marker...I chose this because I just kept thinking that from the minute I saw this image. Last I added some teal rhinestones to the top right corner for some extra bling.
Now I will send you off to your next stop on the hop which is Jerusha's Blog.
If you get "lost" at all feel free to hop right back to the QKR Stampede Blog for a complete list of where to go. I hope you enjoyed this stop, and all the others so far. Aren't the girls on the DT so talented?
