Red Ribbon Week Barrette

Hi there. This week is Red Ribbon Week. For those who don't know what that is, it is a programs to celebrate being drug free. Most schools participate in this with various activities. My daughters' school is celebrating this week with coloring contests, hat decorating contest (for the older grades), and tomorrow they can wear red "accessories". Well I have 2 girls in school, and only 1 red headband...lol. So I decided to get crafty, and come up with an accessory for my other daughter. Here is what I came up with.

I pulled out some of the giant flowers I have, and layered them. I used my i-Top to make a big red red to hold them all together, and hot glued them onto a barrette. It is hard to see from the photo, but there are 4 large flowers (2 red and 2 white), and 1 smaller white flower. The PP on the i-Top brad is some I had in my stash for a very very very long time...lol. I can't wait to show her in the morning. I think she is going to love this red ribbon week accessory!

I see two little girls wanting the red flower hair barrette and neither caring about the red headband! ;-) Very nicely done!!!
