Now...I wanted to let you know that on Friday July 9th we will be having a QKR Stampede DT Blog Hop! If you haven't hopped along with one of our DT hops yet...you really need to. You don't want to miss this at all. All the ladies on the DT are soooo talented, and have some great inspiration to share with you. It is also a great way to see the many images you can find in the QKR Stampede Store. I usually see at least 1 image a hop that I never noticed in the store...lol. There are just so many awesome stamps to choose from. Our theme this hop...Christmas. So...hope on back next Thursday, and maybe I will share a preview of my card with you. On Friday, join us at the QKR Stampede Blog for the July DT hop!

Hoppy QKR Stampede Day!
Happy July 1st! Holy Cow...I can't believe it is July already!!! Although I am really looking forward to celebrating the 4th with some friends on Sunday. For the last few years, we celebrate at my mom's house. She lives not too far from a park that has fireworks. So we have a cookout first, then walk down to the park for the fireworks.
Well today I wanted to share a card I made using one of the awesome QKR Stampede images. I have used this guy before, but I wanted to use the froggie paper I bought to go with him...lol. I used the sketch from this week's Cupcake Craft Challenges for my layout. LOVE the froggie paper! I started with this adorable "Little Boy" image from QKR Stampede. I colored him with watercolor crayons. I used a white 5x5 CS base. I wanted to pull the colors from the froggie PP, so I used a pale blue CS to layered onto the base. I used a darker navy blue along the bottom (both of these are textured CSs). For the circle, I used a green CS circle, and ran it through the cuttlebug. I layered the strip of froggie PP, and then placed the image on top of that. I used a rub-on for the sentiment...too bad it didn't' say "hoppy day"...lol. For some reason this image makes me want to use puns instead of the correct words. He is just sooo cute.
